Firstly, thank you for stopping by and taking the time to click on my website. Some of you will already be familiar with Slinky By Tuesday and some of my antics over the years, but for others you'll be thinking what the "Saltburn" is going on here!
Let me enlighten you.
My name is Katie Trinder and Slinky By Tuesday is my take on life. It's my views on certain issues, my adventures and my ongoing battle with my weight. Hopefully it'll make you laugh, or at least the smirk....a bit! You might relate to me, or you might just think what the hell is she up to now. Quite frankly whatever your reaction as long as you're reading and interacting I'll take it!

Let me introduce myself properly, I'm Katie, I'm 46 and I live in Mansfield next door to my sister, between us we have 7 dogs and 4 cats.... we love animals.
My sister Lucy, will feature quite a bit in the blog as we are always up to something or other, we realised the other day that we always need to be entertained. You'll also get to meet some of my other friends and family, as long as they're OK with me being mentioned!
I'm a huge Mansfield Town fan (Nigel Clough's barmy army), I love the theatre, films, days out and holidays. This isn't a dating profile by the way... by heart belongs to Jon Bon Jovi, Matt Goss and Jason Mamoa.
If you think this might be the sort of blog where you'll find exciting recipe ideas, where I ruffle up a frittata with the 3 ingredients I have in my fridge, then think again. There'll be none of that nonsense here, I can't cook and the three ingredients you'll find in my fridge are Laughing Cow blue cheese triangles, seafood sticks and a jar of raspberry jam left over from Christmas. Not even Gordon Ramsey could rustle up a frittata with those! You'll more than likely find examples of me having had a romantic notion of making all my friends bonfire toffee and ending up with a pan of sticky goo, which even after 3 days in the fridge was only mildly stiff.

I love a day out, particularly if there's a gift shop, who doesn't love a novelty pen with a stately home embossed on the side?
There'll be talk about books, films and theatre, holidays and everything in between.
The blog's called Slinky By Tuesday, because on one of my many attempts to loose weight, my weigh day was a Tuesday and Lucy and I always used to joke that we'd be "slinky by Tuesday".... anyway my weigh day is now a Friday, but as my old boss once said, "why let the facts gets in the way of a good story?"
Thanks for joining me and I hope you enjoy the ride!
Katie xxx
Looking forward to reading about more of your antics! X
