I know that I say this every week, but Lucy and I can't tell you just how much we appreciate all the love we've had for the Slinky podcast, it makes us so happy that you're enjoying it. If we're honest, apart from the theme music, this is just the sort of nonsense we chat to each other on a day to day basis.
After the excitement of gangster reindeers, husky rides and the Northern Lights, we were back to work. Well I say work, Lucy was apparently "working" in London all week, but she still found time to treat herself to a trip to the theatre and go and see "Mean Girls". You can hear what she thought of it.
For me, it was also back to work, but I did spend my Saturday night ghost hunting at Newstead Abbey with my friend Sarah. Newstead Abbey is one of my favourite places anyway, but to be there late at night with the lights off took it to a whole new level. A huge thank you to Barrie John and his team for making ti so special. You can hear what happened and how my ghostly experience leads to Lucy admitted to the worst thing she's EVER done.
Plus, both Lucy and I got "Eastenders" FOMO. Neither of us have watched it for about 10 years, but as it celebrated it's 40th anniversary, we couldn't resist watching again. It led us down a best moments in soap conversation and remembering the time our friends thought we were taking over the Rovers Return!
