After a short little break, we are back for season 2 of Slinky By Tuesday, this week we talk pizza, Pisa and the Pope!

To kick off season 2 of the Slinky By Tuesday podcast, Lucy and I will be talking about our holiday to Italy, in true Slinky style, it wasn't without a liberal amount of shenanigans, all washed down with a healthy amount of Malbec!

On this holiday, our brother from another mother, Gav came with us. We've been friends for about 25 years and have been on numerous adventures together.

This time we were off on an Italian Cruise, aboard the P&O Ship Azura. Arriving in Malta, we would then go to Corsica, Florence, Pisa, Rome and Naples.

We'd decided we would do a mixture of organised trips combined with heading off on our own - I mean really, should me and Lucy be trusted exploring on our own?

But as with everything Lucy and I do, it didn't necessarily go to plan, world events combined with things not going to plan made for a trip full of adventure and a lot of laughs. I mean how many people can say the Pope affected their holiday?

We saw stuff, we ate stuff, we drank stuff, we read stuff and I managed to tick something else off my list of 50 things to do before I'm 50.

So, sit back, put the kettle on (or pour yourself a glass of Malbec), stick a spoon in a jar of Nutella and pop open the Pringles and get ready for the first episode of season 2 of Slinky By Tuesday.
